Planting began along this area winter 2024 and are now plus 1/4 acre long ! Filled with Eriogonum parvifolium "Seacliff buckwheat" THE HOST PLANT for the endangered Euphilotes allyni " El Segundo Blue Butterfly", and hundreds of other native pollinator plants . In winter 2026 we will move further east towards Virginia Street.
Community Engagement
We actively engage with the local community to raise awareness about the importance of habitat conservation. Through educational programs, public events, and conservation initiatives, we strive to inspire others to join us in our mission to protect the El Segundo Blue Butterfly and its habitat.
