About Us
El Segundo Blue Butterfly Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit conservation group in El Segundo, CA, dedicated to creating and maintaining habitat for the endangered El Segundo Blue Butterfly, Euphilotes allyni, in El Segundo. Our mission is to engage the community in conservation efforts and raise awareness about the importance of protecting this rare species. Through collaborative initiatives and educational programs, we strive to ensure the long-term survival of the El Segundo Blue Butterfly and its ecosystem.

2024 community sea cliff buckwheat plantings to bring the ESBB back to our local environment while promoting biodiversity. This initiative encourages community participation in planting and caring for these important native plants. Together, we can create a lush habitat that supports local wildlife and beautifies our coastal areas. Join us in making a positive impact our community and the environment!
